In the past 20 years, elevator technology has made great progress. As the most basic performance of the elevator, the transportation efficiency, comfort and reliability have been significantly improved. Among them, the progress in the drive and control of the elevator is the most prominent. The development of Japanese elevators is shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2. Before 1965, the control device was still mainly composed of electromagnetic elements. At that time, efforts were made to reduce the size and improve the performance of electromagnetic relays, leveling devices, and selectors.
