发展油茶的主要目的是生产茶油。因此油茶种仁含油率的高低,是衡量汕茶品种优劣的重要经济指标之一。为了掌握全省各地油茶和外省主要油茶品种的含油率情况,我们结合油茶比树选择工作,于1979年进行了油茶种仁含油率的测定。计划连续进行三年,分析全省油茶种仁含油率与当地土壤、气候这两项主要环境因子之间的相关性,为开展油茶良种选育,制定合理的栽培技术措施,促进油茶稳产高产,提供必要的科学依据。现将1979年油茶种仁含油率测定的初步结果简报如下:
