激光和电子束热处理是七十年代初发展起来的两种新技术,由于它们独特的加热方式,给金属的表面热处理带来了一些新的概念和特点。本文根据国外近几年的部分资料加以综合介绍,同时对这两种热处理技术的优缺点进行比较。一、激光热处理1.国外激光热处理的研究和应用概况激光自60年代问世以来,在金属加工工业中迅速得到广泛的应用,最初是用于焊接、切割、打孔和整修金属表面等方面。激光在热处理方面的研究是七十年代初开始的。现在,激光热处理已由实验室研究阶段进入生产应用阶段。激光热处理可对金属零件进行表面淬火、冲击淬火、局部合金化处理、选择性局部硬化处理、表面“上光”等。
Laser and electron beam heat treatment are the two new technologies developed in the early 1970s. Due to their unique heating method, some new concepts and characteristics are brought to the metal surface heat treatment.
