There are many explanations for the word “kill” in the sentence of “Death of Wei Liaozu Bingxun”. There are many explanations and interpretations in ancient and modern academic circles, such as “killing soldiers”, “saving soldiers” And “make the soldiers willing to die” and other interpretations. These statements are ostensibly reasonable, but if we combine this context with the history of the book and the circumstances of the war at that time, it is obviously far from the original intention of Wei. By examining the background of the life of Wei Liao, war loss and logistical support, we think that the word “kill” should be understood as “killing the enemy soldiers”.
