Here is a new Pacific Ferromanganese Tuberculosis distribution. This picture was prepared on the basis of the information of 2,500 photography stations under deep sea photography. The authors studied materials collected by experts from the Federal Republic of Germany, Japan, France and the United States during the 25th Summer Activities of the IGA. The distribution shows the percent density of ferromanganese nodules covering the ocean floor, dividing five different levels from 0 to> 50%.
