曼妥思是一种休闲食品,可是它的广告偏偏不告诉消费者它的味道;它是口香糖,可是它也偏偏不告诉消费者它在清新口气方面有多厉害。它只通过够搞、够雷人的广告来告诉消费者它就是这个味。因为它知道,在这个时代,无趣就是最大的错误。
Mentos is a snack, but its ads do not tell consumers its taste; it’s chewing gum, but it does not tell consumers how fresh it is in fresh breath. It tells the consumer that it’s just this taste, only by engaging enough to get rid of it. Because it knows that in this era, boring is the biggest mistake.
