In this paper, the theory and calculation method of spherical field scanning near and far field transformation are discussed. The interpolation method and the method of calculating the value of m-mode are proposed. The accuracy of transformation and the computational complexity are greatly improved. The calculation method that makes full use of computer memory to realize the near-far field transform of electric large size target in a general microcomputer is studied.
