本文以海洋世纪必然来临的立场，从世界资源和环境的发展态势及海洋经济大省的内涵出发，论证建成海洋经济大省对福建未来的可持续发展，具有突出和特殊的重要性。亦即，在福建省的资源和环境约束下，“加速海洋开发，发展蓝色产业，建设海洋经济大省”之区域发展战略的必要性 Based on the inevitable advent of the maritime century, starting from the development of world resources and the environment and the connotation of a large maritime economy, this paper argues that it is of outstanding and special importance to establish a large marine economy province that will sustain Fujian’s future. That is, under the constraints of resources and environment in Fujian Province, the need for a regional development strategy of “accelerating the development of the oceans, developing the blue-scale industries and building a major maritime economy”
