Impedance volume graph (impedance plethysmography) is an attempt to detect changes in the body’s local blood volume by a measure of changes in electrical impedance of the human body. This technique has been successful in applications such as limbs blood flow detection. In addition to its simplicity, safety and repeatability, the technology has gained more and more attention in recent years. However, the theoretical basis and application of technology continue to expose many problems. Especially for the chest test, trying to reflect the heart pump blood activity mixed, the result is quite controversial. In response to these questions, Professor Zang Yimin, Department of Physiology, Fourth Military Medical University guides its doctoral students
