  Gear S3 Smart Watch
There’s great news for users of one of the world’s most popular smart phones as Samsung reveals its latest app for the Gear S3 smart watch. Samsung Gear S3 users will finally be able to pair their watch with this top device.
Samsung may be closer than ever to burying the hatchet with its great rival Apple with the newest update for its Gear S3 smart watch.
The company has finally revealed the companion iOS app for the Gear S3 smart watch at CES 2017, meaning that users of the wearable will finally be able to pair their device to their iPhone.
Previously, only Android users wear able to enjoy pairing their smart phone with the Gear S3.
The new Gear S app, which is available to download from the iOS app store now for free, brings a number of useful features and updates.
For starters, it will let users download and install apps on the smart watches, push notifications from the phone to the watch.
There’s also good news for fitness fans, as the app will let you sync health and fitness data using Samsung’s S Health service.
  Frontier and Classic
The Samsung Gear S3 is available in two options, Frontier and Classic.
Along with the Gear S3, Samsung has also released apps for the previous generation Gear S2 device, as well as it’s Gear Fit wearable.
Both of these devices will also now be able to show notifications from the iPhone and send health data to the S Health service.
However although many Samsung wearables now sport full iOS connectivity, there’s no update on the company’s wireless earphones just yet.
T he latest g eneration of Samsung’s wearables offers a number of improvements over past generations, but at £349, is pretty costly.
The Samsung Gear S3, which was first revealed back at IFA in September, is available in two styles, dubbed Frontier and Classic.

Frontier has been designed to act as both a fitness-minded watch, as well as a leisure wearable.
Meanwhile, the Classic variation“pays homage to the minimalist, elegant style found in the most iconic timepieces,” according to Samsung.
  Launched in April
This all-new smartphone from the Korean technology firm looks likely to be shown to the world in April.
Rumours are rife that Samsung is opting for a big unpacked launch in New York rather than its usual event at Mobile World Congress in February. The Galaxy S8 is likely to feature a number of improvements over the award-winning Galaxy S7 such as a bigger and brighter screen, better camera and super-fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
Now a new set of pictures have arrived on the web showing Galaxy fans how the device might actually look in the flesh.

Samsung Galaxy S8 looks set to be the smart phone to beat this year. Following a swathe of rumours from the Chinese supply chain, a number of graphic designers have cooked-up high-resolution renders of what the smart phone could look like, when it launches in the UK in April 2017
The renders come from smart phone accessory retailer Mobile Fun and appear to show a Galaxy S8 tucked inside a clear case.
Although it’s unclear if the image is real, or just a concept based on reports, it does match many of the rumoured features.
Samsung is thought to be sticking with its dual curved display on the S8 and there has been plenty of talk that the home button is being removed.
It appears Samsung customers will need to become accustomed to pressing on-screen virtual buttons.
There is an advantage to moving away from physical keys.
It is believed the decision to ditch the capacitive buttons will allow Samsung to reduce the bezels at the bottom of the device - something these latest images appear to prove.

Another rumour that has begun doing the rounds is that Samsung won’t ditch the headphone port.
The image clearly shows a space for a 3.5mm headphone port which could indicate Samsung is including this standard way to connect cans.
Apple caused a huge amount of controversy when it removed this popular port, although many iPhone fans appear unfazed by the loss.
  Samsung Galaxy S8
Reports claim that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will snap up all of Qualcomm’s superfast Snapdragon 835 chips to make it the fastest device around.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 looks set to be one of the speediest Android smart phones on record thanks to an agreement the company has reportedly secured to power the device.
Reports from Forbes have claimed that Samsung has struck a deal with Qualcomm to use the company’s entire stock of its most recent Snapdragon 835 processors.
The Snapdragon 835 looks set to be the most powerful mobile processor released to date, meaning that any device featuring the chip will feature highly on the hardware scale.

Samsung Galaxy S8 will get a dramatic new design, with no buttons, and an edge-to-edge display. The device is also set to sport a whopping 6GB of RAM, which along with the Snapdragon 835 should mean that the Galaxy S8 will be able to handle a huge number of tasks easily.
The use of the Snapdragon 835 chip also means that Samsung’s newest device will come with Quick Charge 4.0 charging technology, which allows devices to charge up to 20 per cent faster than before.
However the reports would be bad news for other Android devices makers such as LG and HTC, which would doubtlessly have been hoping to use the Snapdragon 835 to power their newest flagship devices.
If true though, the lack of the latest chips will mean that these competitors will instead be stuck using last year’s hardware, most likely the Snapdragon 821, which is not nearly as powerful as the new processor.
Expectation is continuing to ramp up for the device as the company looks to bounce back from the embarrassment of the Galaxy Note 7.
Reports claimed that the design of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is nearly complete, with the company now finalising the specs and design of the device, and even sending a prototype of the final phone to the CEO and Vice Chairman for approval.
Samsung has delayed the launch from its usual late February date in order to ensure that the device is fully ready - as well as ensuring it secures the attention of the world’s media.
