“五四”新文化运动和文学革命的闯将、著名的新文学家和语言学家刘半农(1891—1934),逝世半个多世纪以来,曾经引起过人们的关注或非议,海内外学术界对他的了解和认识,也往往不够全面和正确。十年来,笔者在前辈学者的指导和前人研究的基础上,曾致力于这一研究课题,虽然取得了一定成果,但在不少问题上仍然有待于深化和讨论。以下几个问题,有的是研究心得,有的是史料钩沉,有的是舛误辨析,有的是作品探微,都和刘半农的生平、思想或著作有关,供研究者参考。 Liu Xinnong (1891-1934), a famous new-language writer and linguist who became a leader of the “May 4th” New Culture Movement and the literary revolution, has aroused people’s concern or criticism for over half a century after his death.
