英语听力能力是高中英语学习的培养重点,而成功的英语听力理解不仅取决于所学的语言知识,同时也取决于听者是否了解相关的文化背景知识。在高中英语听力教学中,教师应培养学生的背景知识,加强背景知识的传授。但目前高中学生的状况是听力过程中障碍多、能力提高不快,造成这一现象的原因很多,本文从非语言因素中的背景知识入手,分析了背景知识在高中英语听力中的现状、影响与作用,并探讨了如何加强背景知识的传授以提高学生英语听力。
English listening ability is the focus of English learning in senior high school, and successful English listening comprehension depends not only on the language knowledge learned, but also on whether the listeners understand the relevant cultural background knowledge. In high school English listening teaching, teachers should develop students’ background knowledge and strengthen the imparting of background knowledge. However, at present, the condition of high school students is that there are many obstacles and abilities to improve their listening skills. There are many reasons for this phenomenon. Based on the background knowledge of nonverbal factors, this paper analyzes the current situation of background knowledge in high school English listening, And explored how to strengthen the teaching of background knowledge to improve students’ English listening ability.
