In this talk,we are concerned with the vanishing viscosity problem for the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations with helical symmetry in the whole space.Using the Navier-Stokes approximations,we obtain global existence of weak solutions of the helically three-dimensional Euler equations without swirls.Initial helical swirl of the Navier-Stokes equations is permitted,having sqrt{ν}-amplitudes(ν is the viscosity)in L2 and L3 space.A new decomposition of a helical vector field is introduced to make it available to obtain uniform estimates of the vorticity.Moreover,our weak solutions of the Euler equations belong to the space L∞(0,T;H^1)which extends the existence results obtained before.
