The information on distribution,partitioning,source identification and risk assessment of pollutants in aquatic environment is quite necessary for pollution treatment and quality criteria.Yinma River Basin(43°0′N-45°0′N,124°30′E-126°0′E)located in Jilin Province of China,is a primary source for domestic water and irrigation of farmlands.Although Yinma River Basin is of great significances,to our best knowledge,no studies on risk assessment of priority polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons have been reported for this region.Accordingly,in this work,16 PAHs recommended by U.S.Environmental Protection Agency in water and sediment of Yinma River Basin were investigated.
