Purpose:To explore the correlation factors of metablic syndrome and its related disease with hyperuricemia in eldly male.Methods:1411 elderly cadres in Huashan hospital were chosen,and 1024 eldly male cadres were divided into 2 groups according to their serum uric acid level.Blood glucose (PBG,FBG),creatinin (Cr),cholesterol (CHO),triglyceride (TG),blood pressure (SBP,DBP),body mass indes (BMI),waist hip ratio (WHR),fasting serum insulin (FINS),uric acid (UA) and Insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) were measured.Logistic regression analysis was also done.
