Cloud computing has made a significant impact on mainstream IT services. We have seen cloud services and products being tailored for and adopted by libraries, including Amazon EC2 and cloud based library systems, including the discovery layer and the unified resources management systems.Cloud based Unified Resources Management Systems not only eliminate the need for locally hosted servers and applications, but enables libraries to manage all print, electronic and digital contents in one place. In May 2014, the University of Windsor Libraries went live with the two cloud based library systems: Alma and Primo.Alma replaces the Librarys legacy systems, including Evergreen Integrated Library System (Conifer), Syrup homegrown course reserve system and SFX link resolver.Primo provides a one-stop search and access interface for its faculty, staff and students, providing access to books, journals and local Library content via one platform. This paper will share the Librarys experience with the selection, implementation and ongoing support of the two new systems, including the benefits the new systems have brought as well as the challenges the Library encountered.
