Filler in rubber matrix has been widely used as the reinforce for many years,the properties of carbon black dispersing in the rubber matrix as well as the correlations of structural changes of carbon black and mechanical behaviors of the rubber composites are still not clear.With the help of the Full field transmission X-ray microscopy(TXM),the structures of carbon black aggregates dispersing in natural rubber matrix are obtained and some interesting properties are discussed.The results show that the TXM is a valuable tool to give a detailed view of the structures of carbon black aggregates dispersing in the rubber matrix and try to answer some basic questions such as the relationship of filler network and mechanical properties of rubber composite.
