The objectives of this study were to determine the variation in nutrient digestion,plasma metabolites and oxidative status triggered by an induced subacute ruminal acidosis (SARA) in mid-lactation dairy cows and to evaluate the ability of pelleted beet pulp (BP) as a replacement for ground corn to alleviate the SARA in the long term.
