Objective:PRP effect on fat implant vascularisation processes.Materials and Methods: The study involved 48 pubescent VISTAR rats, subdivided into 2 groups: 1st group of rats received 2 ml injection of human fat subcutaneously, while 2nd group received fat injections containing PRP.Preparation of PRP was prepared using Harvest Smart System (Harvest Inc.), gaining 2 to 5 times increase of platelets concentration in plasma. The study period lasted 42 days. The rats were analyzed on the 14th, 28th and 42nd day after the injection.Fat containing tissue samples were selected and excised from the backs of the tested animals according to the standard procedure. Results and discussion:The subsequent analysis demonstrated substantial implant tissue fibrogenesis of different vessel sizes as early as on 14th day.The material sections demonstrated signs of implant organization process initiation.Infiltration and other inflammatory processes were not present. At the end of the test, animals of the 2nd group demonstrated very high level of implant capsule formation, with blood vessels grown into surrounding tissues. Results demonstrated initiation of connective tissue organization processes and explicit vascular formation inside the fat implant as a result of PRP injections. Conclusion and goals:PRP accelerates vasifaction, active transplant organization and its integration into surrounding tissues.Summing up, the above mentioned physiological processes support local immune response, physiological revitalization, improve skin physiological functions and texture at the site of fat implantation.
