Metal complexes of calixarenes exhibits excellent catalytic performances in various reactions [1,2],but are less reported in the copper-catalyzed oxidation reactions.Relative to common O-donor ligands,calixarenes possess many unique advantages such as the conformational flexibility,the presence of cavities,and the ability to coordinate simultaneously metal centers and can be employed in solubility control,enantio-discrimination and substrate recognition.
