This research mainly focuses on the influence of the subjects of vehicle-related departments on the first choice of subjects.The research participant were students from the first grade to the fourth grade who are currently studying at universities and science and technology universities.The questionnaire survey was used to collect 223 questionnaires,there are 199 valid questionnaires.The tools used in this study were IBM SPSS Statistics for windows 22.0.and AMOS to analyze the six constructs that was based on the theory of self-determination,which includes “Amotivation”,“External Regulation”,“Introjected Regulation”,“Identified Regulation”,“Integrated Regulation” and “Career development confidence”.The results showed that there was no significant correlation between external regulation and identity regulation and overall regulation.However,some of them are still under the influence of parents and teachers,and their willingness to engage in the maintenance industry is not high in the future.This shows that some students even have high It is not necessarily the automotive industry that you are really interested in or wanting to pursue in the future.The internal norms for the norms and norms of the overall norms are positively correlated,indicating that the original interest in choosing subjects and students want to work in the future,will consider career trends in the future,the choice of subjects is also less susceptible to influence.This result can be self-determination theory to be interpreted and understood.The study also suggests that schools should provide students with more channels to seek self-interest and to provide transfer and counseling resources to prevent students from wasting precious study time and educational resources under various uncertainties.
