MUC1 is a kind of tumor-associated glycoprotein which is extensively O-linked glycosylated and over-expressed on many tumor tissues.It is an attractive target for cancer immunotherapy.Previously our group has covalently linked different MUC1 glycopeptides to Bovine serum albumin(BSA)to evaluate whether the variation of the glycosylation pattern will influence the immune response.Even though we got encouraging results,the complexity and heterogeneity of BSA-glycopeptide conjugates cannot be neglected.
