The fast regulation of NGF has begun to catch eyes in recent years.NGF contributes to many neural activities through sodium, calcium and calcium activated potassium channels.To identify M channel expression in rat TG and to evaluate the effect of NGF on TG excitability by a way of suppressing M channel.Our previous studies have confirmed that NGF may suppress M currents of SCG neurons, and indicate this suppression may become a new pathway to regulate neuron excitability.
