[Objective]Listeria monocytogenes is a Gram-positive,food-borne pathogenic bacteria which can adapt to serious environment condition[1].It also have an ability in defense of sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) stress.Usually,bacteria active the expression of antioxidant mechanisms to detoxify hypochlorous acid and to repair the damage[2].However,the mechanism of NaClO-aetivated protection by anti-oxidative related genes is not clear.Here,to explore this problem,several genes involved in redox regulation were studied in L.monocytogenes under NaClO stress.
