Jameson once said with some helplessness that attempting or trying to tie the two together was often regarded by people as a singular combination of lacking a solid foundation and full of paradoxes, often showing the yellowing of the Soviet revolution Old photos and colorful neon luxury hotel together created by the bizarre landscape and weird effects. Indeed, in many people’s sense, a postmodernist can not be a Marxist in any sense. It seems that Marxism and postmodernism have always been totally different from other political systems. Two things. There are mainly two kinds of views on understanding Marxism and post-modernism. One view holds that the rise of the postmodernist cultural trend of thought not only means that Marxism is outdated and even proclaimed the end of Marxism. In the post-industrial era or the late capitalist era, the political, economic, cultural and daily life of contemporary society have undergone fundamental changes. Marxism has lost the usefulness of explaining the present reality. Another view is that postmodernism, as an increasingly fashionable, fragmented and planar cultural representation of contemporary social life, is a relativistic and nihilistic ideological model that is both a rejection of depth and a rejection of loftiness Language and Culture Games. Therefore, there is not only no common ground between postmodernism and Marxism with lofty revolutionary ideal and the pursuit of human freedom and liberation, but also two kinds of ideological systems that are mutually antagonistic and perplexed. although,
