Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) have attracted considerable interest as one of the most promising energy storage devices.Nowadays, a major challenge for LIBs is to develop new anode materials with high energy density, long cycle life, and excellent rate capability for the practical applications in high power electric vehicles and portable electronic devices.Recently, cobalt oxide (Co3O4), with higher theoretical capacity of 892 mAh g-t, has received increasing attention as a promising anode material of LIBs.
