The advanced reactor systems,such as fusion reactor and lead cooled reactor,bring up great challenges to the service performance of structural materials.Great efforts are being devoted to the development of structural materials in composition design,fabrication processes,material property evaluation(including mechanical properties,corrosion,irradiation and joining etc.)and the establishment of a material database during the last 15 years in FDS team.This paper gives a brief introduction on the progress for advanced structural materials,i.e.China Low Activation Martensitic(CLAM)steel,in FDS team.
