Sea cucumber (Apostichopus japonicus Selenka) is one of the most important aquaculture species in northern China.After incubation,most juvenile sea cucumbers are reared indoors until they reached 20- 50 g.During this period,the optimal temperature for growth of sea cucumber juveniles is between 15 and 20℃,and heating and pumping of seawater represent a significant cost to the producer.
