Objective:Store-operated Ca2+ entry (SOCE),an important Ca2+ signaling pathway, has been shown to involve into a diversity of cellular processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, tumor migration and metastasis. While Orail was recently identified as the long-sought channel pore-forming unit in SOCE pathway, the pathphysiological roles of Orail in various cancers have remained elusive. Here we majorly study the roles of Orail in the development and progression of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC).
