  The dynamics of film surface waves has received much attention from various industries because it has a dramatic effect on transport rates of mass,heat and momentum in devices such as distillation and adsorption columns,evaporators,condensers,nuclear reactor emergency cooling systems etc.Generally,there are solitary wave in the surface wave of the film.The surface tension is an important parameter in the spatial and temporal evolution of surface wave on the film,and the wave can greatly affect the thickness and velocity distribution of the film along with the flow direction and time.It is found that the amplitude of the free surface wave depends on the surface tension and the different bottom.In these cases,the film is usually bounded by a solid boundary on one side with a free surface on the other side bounded by a gas; the solid boundary may be planar or curved.The flow of a liquid film along a wavy-rather than fiat boundary is an interesting variation of the fundamental fluids mechanics problem of gravity-driven film flow.
