Purpose Congenital cataracts and orofacial cleft(OFC)are two anomalies in newborns,both of which have an important genetic component and could severely affect development and life quality of affected patients.Herein,we performed whole exome sequencing in a family with congenital cataracts and OFC to identify the underlying genetic predisposition.
