The study aimed at assuming The Influences of managers’ Leadership styles on their Performance at public bank in India.This study investigate as on the Influence of leadership styles practised in an organization especially in banking industry and their Influence on Managers Performance.The purpose of this study is to understand the Influence of different leadership styles transformational,transactional,laissez-faire and autocratic styles on Managers Performance.The main objectives that guided the study were;to investigate/study the Influence of transformational leadership style on Managers Performance,to investigate the Influence of transactional leadership styles on performance and to analyse the Influence of authoritative leadership styles on Managers Performance.To analyse the Influence of laissez-faire leadership styles on Managers Performance in an organization.A cross-section descriptive survey research strategy was adopted in which 200 usable structured questionnaires were collected from 300 questionnaires distributed.Many surveys and questions were asked to the respondents on the leadership styles and Managers Performance and the results will be shown in the findings and discussion part.There will also be the correlation analysis by comparing each leadership style with the Managers Performance and finally we come to know which style of leadership is more useful to have better Managers Performance.The leadership styles is measured through the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire developed by Avolio and Bass(1995),modified to fit the context of the study.Managers Performance was measured by the scale of Yousef(2000).Pearson correlation method is used to bring out the final output.This study also provides the specific and general objectives along with statement of research,literature review from where my study has originated which includes previous studies on this field and the final limitations which were left off for further study in this field.Research methodology is also mentioned in which contains the population included in study,area of research and variables and measurements procedures used.Empirical and theoretical analysis is also mentioned in the literature review along with research gaps and research questions.This paper also includes data from the studies of previous scholars.From the results,transformational leadership could have greater Influences on employee productivity and quality of performance.It is recommended therefore that Transformational and transactional leadership are the most Influence leadership styles.The results suggest that supervisors in organizations need to use a lot of transformational leadership behaviours or rather embrace transformational leadership style,but not laissez-faire leadership.From the results,transformational leadership could have greater effects on employee productivity and quality of performance.It is recommended therefore that Transformational and transactional leadership are the most leadership styles.
