“五龙”、“六龙”是潭溪土家族最重要的传统节日,二者从正反两个方面强化了潭溪土家族的认同与凝聚。一方面,“五龙”、“六龙”为族群成员提供了交流的场所,为族群文化营造了集中展演的文化空间,强化了共同起源的意识;另一方面,“五龙”、“六龙”中又充满了分化与竞争,既在一定程度上明确了族群内部村落、宗族的边界,使之形成一个相对平衡的结构;又具有“减压阀”的功能,把族群内部的冲突仪式化、戏剧化,使之处于可控范围之内,从而维护了族群整体的均衡和完整。
“Wulong” and “Six Dragons” are the most important traditional festivals of the Tujia ethnic group in Tanxi. Both of them reinforce the identity and cohesion of Tanxi Tujia from both positive and negative aspects. On the one hand, “Wulong ” and “Six Dragons ” provide a venue for ethnic group members to exchange, creating a cultural space for ethnic culture and concentrating on the common origin; on the other hand, Dragon “and” Six Dragons “are full of differentiation and competition, which not only clarifies the boundaries of villages and clans within ethnic groups to a certain extent, but also forms a relatively balanced structure. ”Function, ritual and dramatization of conflicts within the ethnic group, so that it is within the controllable range, so as to maintain the overall ethnic balance and integrity.
