In the 1980s, “education and research” has become a hot topic of the general education workers in the capital. Today, Beijing Normal Education System Level III (cities, counties, schools) research network has been formed, scientific research activists throughout the city, effectively promoted the city’s education reform. Beijing Education Science Planning Leading Group after adjustment, recently formed a 19 new team, city education bureau director Tao Xiping. During the “Seventh Five-year Plan” period, key projects of education and scientific research in Beijing have successively demonstrated their problems. Regions and counties have also earnestly organized their forces and selected new topics of practical significance to the reform and construction of the general education in Beijing.
