This paper tests in detail the performance of pyrolytic coated graphite tube developed by the Ministry of Aeronautics and Astronautics 703 for graphite furnaces such as Perkin-Elmer HGA-500 and applies it to the determination of trace metals in soy products. The results of measuring the sensitivity, precision, detection limit and service life of six representative elements proved that the performance of this graphite tube was basically the same as that of P-E pyrolytic coating tube.
