本文介绍了每位两个磁心2D方式存储器用的小型铁氧体磁心的存储特性。研制这种小磁心可缩短主存储器的存取周期。由于用集成电路,驱动电流必须低。为了满足这个驱动条件,磁心材料必须具有这样低的H_c值,以使在低驱动电流范围仍能得到“S”曲线中的电压饱和值。而且,材料的磁滞回线必须具有高矩形性。我们研制了两种具有上述特性(外径为0.3mm)的铁氧体磁心。一种成份是Li-Ni铁氧体,另一种是NnMg铁氧体。可以期望用这种磁心所组成的存储器的周期可达250ns。
This article describes the memory characteristics of a small ferrite core for each of two core 2D-mode memories. Developing such a small magnetic core can shorten the main memory access cycle. Due to the use of integrated circuits, the drive current must be low. In order to meet this driving condition, the core material must have such a low H_c value that the voltage saturation value in the “S” curve can still be obtained in the low driving current range. Moreover, the hysteresis loop of the material must have a high degree of squareness. We have developed two kinds of ferrite cores with the above characteristics (outer diameter of 0.3mm). One ingredient is Li-Ni ferrite and the other is NnMg ferrite. It can be expected to use this kind of magnetic core memory composed of up to 250ns.
