冈仓天心(1862～1913)是一位在日本近代文化史上颇有影响的人物,他在日本近现代美术发展中的作用和地位,几乎无人可比。他创办了东京美术学校和日本美术院,培养出了横山大观等一批近代日本画大师,其美术主张和艺术思想影响了日本美术界几代人。他对东方文化精神所寄予的理想,即便在百余年后的今天,对全球化背景下文化多样性的发展仍不乏启示意义。
Okamura Tianxin (1862 ~ 1913) is an influential figure in the history of modern Japanese culture. His role and status in the development of modern and contemporary Japanese art are almost unparalleled. He founded the Tokyo Fine Arts School and the Japan Academy of Fine Arts and trained a group of masters of modern Japanese painting such as Yokoyama Grand View. His artistic ideas and artistic ideas influenced generations of Japanese fine arts. His ideal of oriental culture spurred no doubt on the development of cultural diversity in the context of globalization even after more than a hundred years.
