(一) 报纸的副刊从传统意义上说,大都指文艺副刊。上个世纪八十年代以后,随着人们注重假日休闲及生活质量的提高,副刊从较为单一的文艺副刊,扩大范畴而办起“星期刊”、“周末刊”等。副刊从纯文学庭院走进和融入百姓日常消费、休闲和情感生活的各个层面,呈现出五彩缤纷的态势。但报纸副刊如何面对这些新的变化,采取何种对策呢?关于多元化副刊的问题有如下几点: 一、“快餐副刊”已成时尚伴随着副刊的多元化,各大报、小报的“快餐文化”也日呈趋势,传统的纯文学副刊已为“花花世界”所取代。在“花花世界”里,吃喝玩乐少不了,副刊在这方面尽量迎合,如保健饮食、服饰美容、娱乐网络占据了大量的副刊版面,充当家居生活的保姆、化妆师、导游、服务员等角色,这也无可厚非。然而不少地方报纸副刊还颇费了一番心思研究都市人的情感,什么情爱长廊、情感驿站、单身热线等凸显情调的栏目(或版面)大量推出,有的脂粉气扑鼻而来,甜腻的情调令人窒息。甚至广告文学、钞票文学、虚伪
