Methylene blue photometric determination of gallium in the sulfur, the analysis of the lower limit can only reach 4 × 10 ~ (-5)%. The reason is: detection of inadequate sensitivity and high blank value. Sulfur ion polarographic determination of sufficient sensitivity has been used for arsenic, arsenic trichloride and other pure substances in the analysis of trace sulfur. In general, blank values are derived from reagents and environmental contamination. This paper presents a reductant that doubles as a gallium solvent and allows the analysis to be performed in a fully enclosed device.
