冲压工艺在国民经济各工业部门和国防工业中占有重要的地位。冲压件在机制零件中所占的比重逐渐增加。发展冲压工艺的重要环节是模具制造。我国模具设计制造能力薄弱,新产品试制周期长,不能满足产品不断更新的要求。提高我国模具制造的水平和能力乃是当务之急。在此过程中除了大力采用和发展精密、高效的电加工、机械加工制模工艺以外,在冲压模具中大力推广和发展粘接结构,对于提高模具的制造精度、降低模具成本、缩短模具制造周期等都具有重要意义。
