This article, based on field investigation and literature analysis, explores the relationship between Buddhism and national identity from the perspectives of various ceremonies, social, psychological and literary aspects in the life of contemporary Mongolians from the different aspects of history and reality. Relationship, and ultimately believe that on the one hand, many symbols of Buddhist culture are stable in the daily life of the Mongolian nation with the manifestation of the national culture. On the other hand, although some people in the contemporary Mongolian people strengthen the relationship between Buddhism and national identity, Efforts are being made, but the recognition of Buddhism as a national religion has not been able to reconstruct the entire population. For contemporary Mongolian nationalities in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, ethnic identity seems to be more intense and broader than that of Buddhism. At the same time, the recognition of Buddhism strengthens national identity. National identity has a positive effect on the identification of Buddhism, while national identity agrees with Buddhism There is no obvious contradiction or conflict.
