数字技术的发展，使期刊的内涵与外延都得到了拓展．在技术的支持下，众多期刊进行了创新发展，科技期刊的功能得到了延伸，服务功能凸显。介绍了数字时代科技期刊可以为审稿人、作者、读者提供的服务，对科技期刊的服务功能进行了归纳总结，为科技期刊选择适宜的服务形式提供借鉴参考。
