余先生的黄杨作品(2003年第9期),从图照看,其根、干枝虽还不够粗壮,苍劲和枯荣。若进一步修改,制作一盆简洁、潇洒、秀气之作还是基础不错之材。笔者认为,余先生修改后的作品还存在一些毛病:(1)干本来就不粗壮,加上留冠过大,就形成干细、冠大而散,比例失调;(2)结构杂乱,章法欠佳,有失自然规律;(3)第一出枝,即 A 枝(如图1)出在半圆形的主干中,且与上主干和下枝构成的线条平行。这就犯了腋枝、平行枝两异。至于余先生所说根部的显著缺陷,笔者倒不认为是太大的问题,因为自然界的树木盘根错节的很多,交 Mr. Yu’s boxwood works (No. 9, 2003), from the map to see, the roots, dry branches though not yet robust, vigorous and dry wing.
