由林业局一级生产部门依据1:2500比例尺的总体设计平面图,确定伐区位置并下达生产任务,由设计部门依据经理调查资料在伐区内按林班进行采伐工艺设计,这时需对伐区境界、伐区内部的小班界等进行一系列的测量工作,以便制成1:5000采伐工艺设计平面图。目前国内各生产单位在此项测量工作中,一般均采用罗盘仪导线进行伐区测量,外业完毕后用分度器法制图,求积仪计算面积,这些测量和制图的方法存在着下列缺点:
