Experimental teaching can be said to have been born and developed along with science teaching. It has been nearly 200 years of history. Countries in the world have different traditions and patterns. Relatively speaking, industrialized countries in the western countries pay more attention to experimental teaching. For example, Germany and France established demonstration laboratories for schools as early as the 18th century. Teachers often use expensive instruments to demonstrate vivid phenomena. In the 19th century, the United Kingdom and the United States began experimenting courses with students. Middle school students almost It took 60% of the time in the lab to experiment with simple instruments. However, until nearly 20 years ago, traditional experimental teaching did not change much. Experiments were mainly used to verify and explain the knowledge in textbooks. The students were given a “cooking class” type of experimental class. Since the 1960s, especially in the last 10 years, experimental teaching reform has been active. This article would like to contact the author’s bit of information, talking about a little superficial view of the experimental teaching of science in secondary schools.
