《牛津小学英语》是按“话题—功能—结构—任务”相结合的原则编写的,按单元编排,每个单元由ABCDEFGH若干板块构成。A板块是情景对话,B板块是词汇,CD板块是句型,EFGH是综合板块,有阅读、游戏、语音、歌曲和童谣等内容。通常大部分教师习惯先教BCD词汇句型板块,再教A板块的情景对话,因为已经扫清了词汇和句型的障碍,学生学习A板块的语篇比较轻松;也有的教师尝试先教A板块的语篇,再教BCD板块的词汇和句型。虽然教师们精心设计单元中各个板块的教学,但由于缺少单元整体教学的观念,不注意单元各板块的整体设计,往往导致教学效果不尽如人意。为了全方位引导大家有效开展小学英语单元整体教学,本刊特推出一组“单元整体教学”设计,希望能对大家有所帮助,有所启发,也欢迎大家就此做更深入的探讨。
Oxford Elementary English is written in accordance with the principle of “topic - function - structure - task ”. Each unit is composed of ABCDEFGH plates. A plate is the scene dialogue, B plate is a vocabulary, CD plate is sentence pattern, EFGH is a comprehensive plate, reading, games, voice, songs and nursery rhymes and so on. Usually most teachers are accustomed to teaching BCD vocabulary sentences first, then teaching A scenes conversations, because they have cleared the vocabulary and sentence patterns of obstacles, students learn A plate discourse easier; some teachers try to teach A Plate of discourse, and then teach vocabulary and sentence BCD plate. Although teachers carefully designed the teaching of each section in the unit, lack of the idea of unit teaching as a whole and failure to pay attention to the overall design of each section of the unit often lead to unsatisfactory teaching effects. In order to guide all people to effectively carry out the overall teaching of primary English unit, we published a series of “unit teaching” design, hoping to be helpful and inspiring to everyone.
