From July 20 to July 21, 2016 was organized by Beijing Language and Culture University, China Association for Language Policy and Planning, Beijing Language and Culture Institute, Language and Standards Institute of Beijing Language and Culture University, and the 2016 Academic Conference on Language Policy and Language Planning At the Beijing Language and Culture University, more than 80 scholars from over 40 universities and research institutes across the country attended the conference.
