传统的岩土体的形态结构描述基于欧几里德几何理论,许多复杂的形态结构无法用几何学方法定量描述,分形几何理论的形成和发展为这些复杂形态和结构的描述提供了有力的工具。本文讨论了工程岩土体中的分形对象及其描述方法,目的是提高工程岩土体的定量描述程度,为岩土工程的定量评价提供帮助。
Based on the Euclidean geometry theory, many complex morphological structures can not be quantitatively described by geometric methods. The formation and development of fractal geometry theory provide a powerful tool for the description of these complex morphologies and structures . This paper discusses the fractal object and its description method in engineering geotechnical soils. The purpose is to improve the quantitative description of geotechnical engineering so as to help the quantitative evaluation of geotechnical engineering.
