In this paper, we studied the electrochemical process of anodic dissolution of stainless steel coil for embolization of intracranial aneurysms in physiological saline and determined the current range of dissolving coil. The influence of different materials and surface pretreatment on the corrosion potential of stainless steel was analyzed, which provided the basis for the choice of electrolytic detachment coil
