本文作者对济宁医学院及其山东省部分综合类型高校、高职高专院校新生的入学基础、背景状况、入学后的课堂反映及对待英语的态度等方面进行一次较为全面的调查,对于动态地了解大学非英语专业学生的基础状况,指导当前的英语教学有着重要的借鉴意义。由于调查仅选取了山东省部分院校的学生作为调查的样本,其结果将有一定的局限性,不一定能反映全国其他院校的情况。旨在能引起更多的外语教学和科研人员的关注,并在此方面作更深入的调查,作进一步的分析。
